A Study on the actual condition and job satisfaction of employees at the medical institutions by graduates of Dept. of health administration of junior colleges

Abstract
A Study on the Actual condition and Job Satisfaction of Employees at the Medical Institutions by Graduates of Dept, of Health Administraion of Junior Colleges. The purpose of this study is to grasp the personal characteristic of employees at the madical institutions and the actual condition among graduates of Dept. of Health Administation, to evaluate the degree of job satisfaction and to examine 200 graduates of 4 junior colleges at Taegu and North Kyung Sang Province, Feb. 1998 for the Purpose of submission for basic necessary to their morale and effective ways. The result is as follows : Among employees at the medical institutions, women were 66.9%, singles were 68.3% and persons with licenses were 75.2%. They are mostly engaged at the windows of receipt and insurance in the hospital affairs. Of the degrees of satisfaction, 68.3%, human relationship was highest and the next present working was 38.6%. On the other hand, 33.1% of them expressed dissatisfaction with promotion and 29.7% with wages. There were significant differences from the satisfaction with present working and from the guarantee in social position, present working, wages and promotion for sex. Men were higher than women for satisfaction. The persons with licenses, the case of unmoving to another job expressed higher satisfaction. There were insignificant differences from job department. There were insignificant differences form job career and job department. There were significant differendes from promotion, guarantee in social position and present working according to the higher wages. In the help of major subjects, medical term, 44.1% was highest. Insurance management was 34.3%, management of electric information, 33.9%. In the synthesis of these contents, the results of human relationship and present working satisfaction were fortunately higher than I thought but It is thought that the general examination of personnel about promotion and the reexamination of wage level are necessary. The examination of curriculum to adapt to working place is demanded.
